Jumping on the Bandcamp Wagon

Hilariously bad wordplay aside, I have been on Bandcamp.com as "Andrew Deavin" for some time now. I know, it's weird using my real name, isn't it. Like some kind of weird alternate dimension. To be honest on Facebook I go as far as calling myself Andrew W. M. Deavin - my true-to-life middle initials, funnily enough! ...but I digress. <

I'm here to tell you about my three non-videogame related albums, in order of releasination. Take it away, myself.

I started this one today, and it's not yet finished, even in the slightest capacity. It's basically my own piano solo covers of everybody's (well... my) favourite classic rock pieces, from Queen to the Beatles to Elton John to Billy Joel. So far I've only done track 5. and 9., one a cover of the Beatles Black Bird and While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and the other a medley of Meat Loaf songs, called Meatloaf Medley. That's pretty cool I suppose. [link]

This one was done as part of schoolwork so it's not fun to talk about. [link]

This album was produced by me as a birthday present for a family member or six. It promises "63% new content," which at the time seemed an unreasonable demand for an album... and it was. It actually has nigh on 61% new content - not because I am trying to trick people into believing I truly included that extra 2%, just because I am an extremely bad mathemagician. [link]

"Andy! I'm so glad you showed me all these albums, but is there a way I can pay for the pleasure?" Yes, mysterious anonymous other-wordly voice - there is! All you have to do is use PayPal to pay for any song you want when you click "download"! I mean you could enter $0 and then you'd get it for free but then, hey, I wouldn't be able to make another one, and I'd lose all my money, and then I'd get drunk while wallowing in self-pity and then I'd most likely die, poor, alone in a gutter (except for the rats chewing away at my flaky dead skin). And then that'd be on your conscience. So dole up now! Better go to me than to some annoying doorknocking Mormans, eh?

I like the Butchers The Classics stuff.

My band recently collaborated with 3 other bands to do a 4-part cover of "Paradise By The Dashboard Light". We put it out on 7-inch colored vinyl, but I also put it up on Bandcamp.

I decided to see if there was any other Meat Loaf stuff there, and I was pleased to find your medley.

Check out our cover, if you're so inclined. It's track 2 here:
