I got a car! Among other things...

Yay! After 2 miserable attempts I finally got my Learner's License, and to go along with it a car... somewhat like the one above. It's a similar colour to the one above. It's the non-hatchback version of the car above. With spoilers. Oh, and my car has chewed-up car seats. This one does not. Oh, and mine also used to belong to a local tobbaconnist. Apparently. Source not trusted.

So yeah, on the topic of actually getting the car, I've been able to drive it! Well... no, not exactly. You see, I am a baby. I will not drive it in a residential area for fear or crashing into letterboxes and killing the letters inside. I will not drive it in an empty, rural area out of fear that a truck will pull out in front of me at a moment's notice and I'll smash into it, and kill all the letters inside. And I still haven't mastered accelerating slowly - it requires a deft touch, something which I am yet to possess. Hmmm.

In other news, I finally got my Surround Sound Card to go with my Surround Sound Speakers. I had some problems with it to begin with (granted, I actually still do), what with Windows seeing the speakers as 4.1 and not 5.1... I'd fix it, but it's just the same as adding 2 back speakers and the immersion in games now is unbeatable... so I'm not complaining, just confused. 

And ironically speaking (especially after talking about sound cards), turns out I'm short-sighted, and need glasses to be able to read the whiteboard at school, and drive. It scares me. And surprisingly, even if a grow the biggest, cheapest beard I can, and then wear glasses, I still don't look anything like Gordon Freeman.
