L4D Demo!

I woke up at 4:00 this morning so I could play the L4D demo as soon as it was released. Sure, I'm tired now, but I have to say this (from the bottom of my heart) - every hour was worth it. Left 4 Dead is the greatest game I have played since Crysis and the more I play the demo, the more I beg Valve: hurry up and release the full game!!
Come November 18th I am going to be a very very happy Andy indeed!*

*Despite the fact exams start that day... so I probably won't be able to play it then... damn.

...alright. I want to tell you one scene in the demo that stood out for me. The AI Director is great technology. The first time I played the single player through, there were some zombies down a hole. I shot at them and they died. Which was great.
Second time, I played it through again, though with the SMG instead of the shotgun. There were some zombies down a hole. I shot at them and some of them died. I looked to my left. Some zombies were waiting in the shadows. I screamed "shit shit shit" and ran back into the safe room. (This is at 4:00 in the morning remember, so I didn't scream, I just kind of whispered "shit shit shit...").
Third time through it was different again. Lots of games claim you never play the same way twice... L4D lives up to its statement.
